I have asked a lot of questions in my life: How come? Why this? Why that? I sought, and still seek, answers from Our Lord, deferring to His Wisdom, in my prayer and in the Scriptures.
Initially I started the Question of the Week so that people would pick up the bulletin, but I found that Lord used it to minister to the people. Always I start with asking Our Lord, “what are You saying to me?” and then, “what do You want me to say to the people?” Those are the two most important questions I, as priest, can ask.
Before reading the reflections, ask Our Lord to open the “ears and eyes” of your heart to receive what He wants to speak.
